Desiro High-Speed Train Overview
Named after the beautiful Barn Swallow bird, the high-speed Desiro train is among the most efficient ways to travel in Russia. Designed by German Siemens, the train has more than 10 routes and connects numerous Russian cities, including Moscow, Vladimir, Nizhny Novgorod, Veliky Novgorod, Petrozavodsk, and St. Petersburg. This bullet train can run at a maximum speed of 160 kilometers per hour (about 100 miles per hour) and is equipped with modern amenities, necessary for travel in comfort.
